Civil and Human Rights

I believe that every human being has the right to live his or her lives. Many people don’t know that there are countries that practice “human torture”. Right now in this past month it was discovered that eighty-one countries practice this ritual. Everyone should have the right to life, freedom, equality, justice, and freedom of thought and expression. Your economic status, nationality, jurisdiction, age, ability, ethnicity, sex, religious beliefs, and sexuality should not prevent you from having these basic rights and freedoms.
Every person on the planet is entitled to the right to life, freedom, equality, justice, a nationality, and freedom of thought and expression. Yet these rights aren’t protected to many people in this world. Right now there are 270 people in Guantanamo Bay being held without a charge or a case.
Women and girls aren’t protected in various countries. It has been known that they were violated through the practice of female genital mutilation. In Egypt two hundred and fifty women were killed by violence and one was being raped every half hour. To help this issue I believe as a country we should get together and have laws to be passed for thee protection of women, girls, children, men and boys.
Once again everyone has the right to his or her own lives. No one has the right to take over what is one of the most valuable principles in a human. Torture is a serious violation. It can cause so much depression and may possibly take years to recover from mental, physical, and verbal abuse. It’s just simply horrible.
Kids in these countries that cannot get their education because their being held against their will, they have to work. Kids and adults shouldn’t have to be scared from such torture. Women, men, children being raped, killed, and abandoned. I also believe that this is a cause for individuals committing suicide.
Once again we should get a program running to protect these people. Some how get it in the mind of the government and next thee president. Something needs to be done, and done now before more and more innocent lives get taken away.
