Pregnancy for Teens is a No No


A major pressing social issue would have to be teen pregnancy. Nearly about a million teens become each year. These are children that are having children. It is such an issue because they don’t know what to do with the kids once they have them. I think that it happens because parents don’t talk enough to their children about sex. Another thing is that teens are very carefree because they don’t have to worry about no one but himself or herself. So they don’t know what it takes to be a parent. There are consequences for what people do and teen pregnancy is a big one.
The United States is one of the highest birth rate of teens in the world at fifty- five of a thousand. The closet to us is New Zealand with thirty- three out of a thousand. A lot of those kids don’t get homes because they get put up for adoption. I personally think that it is kind of messed up because it is not the Childs fault that they are put up for adoption. They were not the ones to get pregnant. They suffer because other people make the mistakes. Many of them don’t know what to because their parents do not approve of that or have nowhere else to go. So they throw the baby away after awhile.
In our eyes we see these kids as teens but if they are able to have a baby then god grows them. If they are old enough to have sex than they are old enough to take care of their kids. I do understand that some of them do keep their kids with them. But aren’t financially stable to take care of them but they try. And I thank them for that. To show that they still can take care of business and I child. That shows that America is not all that responsible but make up their mistakes by still trying.
