Trey-Von Wrights/ My journey into the window

Over the past couple of weeks preparing for the field to the Nevada Museum was interesting. I however did not go on the Field trip, but it was a interesting experience preparing for the trip. Over the last couple of weeks we learned about archetypes. My archetype was marter, And i learned that marter was the kind of person who cared for others, a person who would sacrifice their happiness for another persons happiness.
It was very interesting to me because in a way that described the character i am. The whole archetype process was like a mirror for me because it made me look at my self and see the person i am for real.
I also learned about what certain colors and objects mean. I was surprised how interested i was because at first i could really care less about all the thing our class was learning. However when the teacher started getting real detailed about what he was talking about, allot of things in life made sense. For example he talked about the triangle, which has 3 sides, well he compared the triangle to Christan religion 'The Father, The Sun, and The Holy Spirit". That made me look at life different because i am religious and happen to be a Christan.
So learning all this information about how the Christan religion has so much to do with this section was really inspiring to me.
Another thing that made me look at things different was the hero's journey simply because you can apply it to your everyday life. which was intriguing.

Our class did a series of practises in the school library of what we were to look for and do in the museum. It was fun cause you really got to look at everything for what it is. It made me open my eyes and look at art for what it really is. So this whole process was eye opening and helped me to really start thinking outside the box so this was a good lesson i enjoyed it
