Gabriela Perez; Art Museum Trip

On Wednesday December the 9, My senior class and I went to the museum of art in Downtown Reno. (After a couple of weeks of practicing and pretending the Libary was the museum) At the museum we saw different kinds of art and paintings. And the most interesting for me was the Rembrant Collection. Rembrant was a marvelous painter, his artwork is one of a kind and they were mostly all about Christ it is so interesting how much detail he put into his paintings. We had a class assignment to do which was to find the Hero's Journey in the paintings. Its incredible and fascinating how you can find the Hero's Journey in almost any kind of artwork. Some may have a person going foward to the abyss or transforming which are all traits of the Hero's Journey. The time past really quick and we had to leave, before we left we all took a picture infront of the Museum. I got really upset seeing everybody and knowing that we only have a couple of months left before we graduate. As we went to get back on the buss the busdriver told our teacher that the bus was stuck in the snow!!!! It was funny because all the boys in the class had to go to the back of the buss and push it to see if it would get unstuck!!! It was seriously the funnest thing that had ever happend to us!!! They bus wouldn't budge a bit so they had to call another bus to come and get us. When we got to school we all went to the Cafeteria to eat pizza! I enjoyed the fieldtrip to the museum I had a great experience and great senior memories.
