Cherish
To hold dear: feel or show affection for to keep or cultivate with care and affection: nurture 2: to entertain or harbor in the mind deeply and resolutely

I think a value everyone should learn is to cherish. I think this is one of the most important values in life. I say this because a lot of people take their life and all their blessing for granted. They don’t appreciate and or cherish the fact that they lived another day that was not promised to them. Or the fact for some people, they have a place to lay their head at night, food to eat, and clothes on their back. The simple things in life.
People should cherish these things in life there are plenty people in the world who cant say that they have a place to lay their heads at night, or have food, and or clothes. When you actually look at the situation for what it is its sad to see how ungrateful we are and I am a witness. Cherish is a value that im still learning myself. I had a problem with cherishing life because of the simple fact of I didn’t enjoy life for what it was. I didn’t care for life it self. It wasn’t until I had a life changing experience that I realized that life is not a joke, yes it may throw you some curve balls you just got to learn how to deal with it. Last month I was diagnosed with Lupus it opened my eyes to new things. It changed my thought process to cherish everything. Im at the point in my life where I cherish every aspect of my life. I thank God for all my blessing and I try to be grateful. People need to learn how to cherish their life and just be happy. I know life gets hard but when it gets hard remember that it could be much worse. We got to look at life for what it is and realize that we are blessed. We also need to learn how to cherish family. Family is so important to me. It sad to see people that don’t love their family members like they should. It’s not until they lose that family member when they realized, damn I should have loved that person. People shouldn’t haft to wait for their family members to die to cherish them.
In conclusion I feel cherish is one of the most important values that people should be taught in life.
