Euthanasia by Prizzal

The intentional killing by act or omission of a dependent human being for his or her alleged benefit. (If death is not intended, it is not an act of euthanasia). That is the definition of the word enthuanasia. But now the biggest controversy is, is it right. Should it be allowed or should it be illegal there are different arguments for each side. Some of the arguments for euthanasia is that it provides a way to relieve extreme pain. It provides a way of relief when a persons quality of life is slow. One of the incredible thing it does is free up medical funds to assist other people. As well as at the same time freeing one and his/her family from the medical bills that he/she would have to pay to keep them alive. The strongest issue that makes me a supporter of Euthanasia is that is another case of freedom of choice. We claim to be the land of the free, but it is illegal to kill yourself, nd now it is a controversy where or not Euthanasia should be allowed. I beleiev that if one is in great suffering then they should have the right to be put out or their misery. There are many reasons to not support Euthanasia and some of those are that it devalues a persons life. It could very well become a means of health care cost containment, doctors and physicians shouldnt be involved in directly causing death. There is a "slippery slope" effect that has occurred where euthanasia has been first been legalized for only the terminally ill and later laws are changed to allow it for other people or to be done non-voluntarily. There are good arguments for both sidesbut i stick for it because i know if i was suffering nd to the point that i am a vegetable then i would want to be put out of my misery.
