The meaning of Love is not one that can be summed up in a sentence, phrase, or even an action. Love is that one thing that no one has been able to put their finger on. Whether it means a strong positive emotion of regard and affection; "his love for his work"; "children need a lot of love."Or have a great affection or liking for something or someone. Maybe it is defined as wherever you go, or whatever you do, go with all your heart as Confucius defines it. One thing i do believe and understand is that love is a value.
The reason why I believe that love is a value is because Love defines value. We are unable to love unless we value ourselves and we only truly value that which we love and this is why we must choose carefully what we are going to love. We can't value something if we do not love it. You can not believe in a value and not have a strong emotion or regard for it can you? If that is the case then why do you value it? For the principle of it? If it was broken down into principles then what are your principles on life? Break down principles by itself, principles are something that you cherish to yourself or what you believe in. How can you believe something if it doesn't reach you in a deeper way in which only love can.
If i could teach just one value to the world it would be love. The reason why is simple for the fact that all the other values in life dont mean anything without love. That is the most important value, Because you can't value any other value without loving it. If someone were to say they value peace but they don't love it then how can you believe so strongly in it? How can you not have that feeling that burns deep within you when you value something? Its simple you cant. You need passion desire and great affection for whatever you do or believe in and that by itself is love and the value of life.
