Rena Peterson Museum Field Trip

The preparation for the field trip was fun. I had to make a T-shirt that told everyone what my archetype was. So It took me like two weeks but once I was finished, everyone knew I was a martyr. I used a bunch of different colors for all the different notes I had to take down, and my symbol for a martyr was a palm tree. So I turn my shrit in and patiently wait to wear it for the field trip. The day of the field trip comes and I slip the shirt over my head and I'm so proud to wear it because I made it. Its not a high fashion, drop dead beautiful shirt, but it's my creation (mostly).
So we get on the bus and slowly make our way into down town reno to the art museum where we all get off and are divided into groups. My group has to go to the third floor first to see the Rembrandt collection. Upon going there we are reminded that there is extra credit to the people who can find Rembrandt's only still life etching. I find it within the fist ten minutes (I was so happy). As I look around at all of Rembrandt's work I get this overly religious feeling so after getting my work done I leave the gallery (I'm not comfortable with religion).
When we get down to the second floor, everyone kind of splits up and does their own thing so I wander around by myself and look at paintings and pictures and creepy root art that doesn't really suit me. Then I wander over to the media arts room where its nothing but mix matched eyes all blinking and looking at me. I stay for a while then move on trying to finish my work.
Even though this isn't my idea of a good time, I'm actually having a blast. I get most of my work done and eventually all of us wind up back down on the first floor. We wait for the bus and when it finally gets there its gets stuck in the snow. After thirty minutes of laughter and trying to get the bus unstuck another bus finally shows up. So we all get off the stuck bus and get onto the new bus and come back to school where we have Dominoes pizza and soda as a little celebration party. All in all I had a good time preparing for the field trip and while I was on the field trip.
