Gabriela Perez--Respect

I think that I have earned respect in the last three years here at school and also at home. I think that the first priority is giving respect to get it and that is something valuable that I have learned in these up coming four years in High school. I think I have grown, I have matured. Thinking back three years ago I wasn't really that polite and I didn't care about anyone but myself. But now I am no longer a girl but a young lady with manners and that makes people respect me. At school when you are with your friends that you have known for a long time it's easy to get respect because they know you and they know what your all about. With teachers of course you have to respect them because they are there to help you and it's just common sense to respect your teachers. At home I earn respect because I do all my chores and that sounds pretty crazy coming from an eighteen year old but I actually do chores it makes my life easier doing what my parents say. I don't have a very messy room but i try to keep it spotless I always try to keep everything in order at the house and my parents love that.
