I have earned respect at home by listening and not disobeying my parents on when they tell me not to do something bad. My parents and i have some type of special trust where i can leave without saying nothing and getting home safely. I'm not only listening but I'm respecting the rules they set by getting home when i need to be home.
On teams such as in my favorite sport soccer, i get respect by showing my actual skills and showing what i can do on the field. I talk a lot about other players and on how they play and what i don't like but i think I'm aloud to say things because I'm actually good and can back up what i say.
To get respect with friends it has been a little different for me. With friends the most important way to show them u respect them is by not betraying them. You have to be there for them and back them up for whatever the cause is. whether getting in trouble with mom or out in the streets with some punk. Also u cant be putting there business out there for others to rumor about that's just disrespectful.
I have earned respect a variety of ways not only in school, teams, or in work, but also at home.
